ALL content MUST be original and created within the 24 HR time period.
ALL films must contain and creatively use all of the REQUIRED ELEMENTS.
ALL films must be five (5) minutes or less. This is excluding the required slates that must appear in your film.
*The maximum length of the films is five minutes thirty seconds (5:30) in total duration, from picture start to picture end.
**There is no minimum or maximum length for credits.
***Required slates and credits are considered part of 0:30 duration of the film mentioned above. There is no minimum length for your film.
ALL finished films must be submitted (with all completed necessary paperwork) by the 24 hour deadline and no later.
*Films finished or turned in later than the 24 hour will not be judged or be eligible for screening.
ALL films should not contain anything pornographic, excessive vulgar, or violent for the sake of violence.
DTTW Teams must consist of five (5) registered members. ONE (1) PRODUCER and ONE (1) DIRECTOR who must attend the required meetings. These two roles can be the same person.
“Student Teams” are considered as a Team who are made up 100% of students. “Student” refers to any individual with a current and valid (student) identification.
*Team Producer must be prepared to prove age and/or status of members upon registration forms and submitting film projects. This includes, but not limited to schools and universities: Undergrad, technical college, high school, middle school, junior high, homeschool, or elementary.
Student Teams under 18 years of age, must have a parent/guardian at all required meetings, be on location, and co-sign all necessary paperwork.
*a parent/guardian are responsible for the teams and DTTW assumes no responsibility for the actions and decisions of any team.
**If you or one of your teammates breaks one or more of the rules mentioned above, your team is subject to disqualification.
